Should I work on my psychic abilities?

For the past year, I've experienced things which have made me come to the conclusion that I could possibly be psychic. I'm very open to this kind of thing, but I'm not the kind of person who studies it religiously. I'm curious as to see if I could possibly be psychic if I were to "exercise" my abilities. First of all, I've discovered that I am an empathic. I can walk into a room, feel the energy and can get a sense of how that person lives his/her life. I can get a sense of where that person is emotionally or mentally. I can look at a photo and I feel how he/she feels about the situation regarding the photo. For example, if it's a photo of my friend and his ex, I can sense how the relationship ended and where he is emotionally regarding the break up. Also, I can always feel exactly what others are feeling. If they're hurt, I know exactly what they're thinking, it's as if I am them in that moment. Or if they're experience happiness (or whatever it may be) it's the same thing. A few days ago I experienced something else. I had ran a few errands. I went to several places including Chili's and Walmart. But as I was walking up to Chili's, I had the feeling that I would see my friend Donovan there. I walked in expecting to see him there, but I didn't. I kept looking for him but he never showed. Also, directly after that I went to Walmart and the same thing happened- I had the feeling that he would be there but he never showed. Well later that day he called me. We talk everyday. He asked me what I had done that day and I told him I had ran a few errands- that I went to Chili's and Walmart. After that he said, "You're kidding, I went to Chili's and Walmart today too. Sucks we didn't get to see each other!" When I was leaving Chili's, I made a point to see what time it was, just because I had the feeling that I should. When I left it was around 2:30 pm. Knowing this, I asked him when he went to Chili's and he had said he showed up a little before 3 and that he had gone to Walmart directly after wards. Could this possibly be a psychic ability?????
